How We Help
The Enterprise Center cultivates entrepreneurs and emerging basic-industry businesses through consultation services, coaching, coworking and access to state-of-the-art production and office facilities. The WTAMU Enterprise Center facilities include a 31,000-square-foot facility with easy, dock-high delivery access. Initial lease rates are offered at approximately 75 percent of market rate, which allows clients to retain capital in their businesses. Lease rates are then increased approximately 20 percent each year, so when a client graduates, he or she will be accustomed to paying market rates. Nationally, incubator clients will move two to three times during their stays in the incubator, with most graduating in the third year.
Incubation Benefits
The process of incubation is much more than brick and mortar. It’s a dynamic process that provides synergy and support for entrepreneurs. One of the most important benefits the incubator provides is direct contact with other entrepreneurs. Peer-to-peer sharing of successes and challenges helps entrepreneurs know there are other business owners facing similar issues. In addition, as a hub for business resources, the Enterprise Center connects clients to programs, funding opportunities, and entrepreneurial resources that accelerate growth and profitability.
Client Coaching
Entrepreneurial coaching is foundational to the services provided throughout the Enterprise Center.
A coach doesn’t tell others what to do or think. Coaching occurs when a person is given an opportunity to think out loud and create possibilities with his or her coach. This creates a protective environment that provides inspiration and motivation, and it ultimately accelerates entrepreneurial development and business growth. Coaching is a catalyzing relationship that accelerates the process of great performance. Through this collaborative parternship, we connect with clients at the deep, personal level of beliefs, values, and vision.

Office Space
The Enterprise Center offers flexible, segregated office space to accommodate growing entrepreneurial companies. The Enterprise Center currently offers 6,427 square feet of space, comprising a total of 25 offices, including 4 office pods. All clients are supported through shared services, which include the following:
- Shipping/ReceivingWTAMU Enterprise Center support staff helps coordinate and provide shipping/receiving support services Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering easy access and dock-high delivery services.
- Customer Service/Reception ServicesWe understand entrepreneurial companies and the need for team support in providing good customer service. Melissa Kalka, our client services coordinator, provides consistent, professional reception and customer service for our clients.
- Common-Use EquipmentEnterprise Center clients have access to common-use equipment including hand trucks and a forklift. Access to this equipment allows companies in early stages of growth to preserve capital and focus resources on moneymaking investments. We also have two common-use break rooms equipped with kitchen appliances, shower facilities, televisions, and wireless Internet.
- Secure Mail BoxesEnterprise Center clients have the option of internal, secure mailboxes, giving them a professional address and security. Mail is posted daily by 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Resource LibraryOver the years, we have collected and stocked a wide array of training and business growth resources in our resource library. All our books and training guides are available for clients to reserve and utilize within their companies. This library also includes a computer, Internet, and phone service. It is available as extra space for client companies by reservation and for non-client companies at an hourly fee.
- Phone SystemEnterprise Center Clients utilize a VOIP phone system that allows multi-user interface, voicemail, the perception of different lines based on roles and responsibilities, call forwarding, and more. This VOIP phone system is controlled by Shoretel and is supported through AMATechTel. Clients may utilize their own phone numbers within our system and take their numbers with them when they graduate. This phone system gives entrepreneurial companies the flexibility and mobility required to maintain professionalism and accessibility in an affordable environment, making it perfect for a growing company.

Production Space
The Enterprise Center offers a variety of production spaces, including space with easy-access, dock-high delivery, warehouse space, and wet-production and manufacturing space. Most production space is flexible, and leasehold improvements are available and negotiated on a case-by-case basis. In addition to leased production space, manufacturers and distribution companies are supported through all shared office services, including a break room, a segregated shower facility, and shared production equipment (fork lift, etc.).

Coworking Space
CoWorks is a community where freelancers, experienced business owners, and entrepreneurs can collaborate and get work done. You can finally escape the isolation of your homes and offices, and work with like-minded individuals to get work done and your creative juices flowing. Our goal is to build a culture where entrepreneurs develop their businesses, learn from each other, and collaborate with each other on projects.
Currently, coworking at the WT Enterprise Center $35 per month with no long term lease.
We are open Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm unless otherwise noted on our calendar.

- Collaborative Working Space At CoWorks, we have plenty of space for you to bring in your laptop, plug in, and start getting things done. We also aim to connect passionate, creative people in an open and collaborative space that will produce amazing networking and learning opportunities.
- WiFi For any mobile worker, WiFi is amust. We provide our coworkers wireless internet so that they don’t have to rely on that hit or miss coffee shop signal.

- 8-5 AccessAt CoWorks we want to give our members a professional space during work hours. This is why we offer access from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
- Kitchen AccessAs members, you can use our fully equipped kitchen for lunch or snack breaks.
