Happy Thanksgiving!
This morning I met with a dear friend who also happens to be a member of our advisory board. She is always so encouraging and uplifting – just one of those people that you enjoy being around. Meeting with her reminded me of the value of having trusted people in my life who encourage me but also hold me accountable to the goals and dreams that I set for myself. For all of them, I’m thankful.
I’m thankful for my wife, my biggest fan, and the one who loves me enough to let me know when I’m not measuring up. She faithfully takes care of our household and supports me in all I do. I’m thankful for my kids. Although they look up to me, they don’t realize how much they teach me every day. I’m thankful for friends and family that provide encouragement, support and accountability. I’m thankful for mentors in my life that sacrificed a little part of themselves to invest in me. I’m thankful for my business associates who fully embrace our vision and work diligently and unselfishly to make it happen. I’m thankful for the accountability from my coach and my personal trainer. And the list could go on…
Just to stop and consider how many people influence and add value to my life is something to be thankful for in this season and in every season. Stop and consider that this season… better yet, say thank you to someone who has influenced you.
