Did you know that since the WT Enterprise Center started managing the Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge program in 2009, awardees have reported more than $1.76 billion in revenue, more than $472 million in payroll and more than $97 million in capital investments.

Supporting Amarillo Entrepreneurs For 28 Years

The Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge is a program of the WT Enterprise Center and funded by the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation. During the annual competition, participants receive qualified coaching and a support system to help them achieve their goals and reach the next level of their business. The Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge began in 1995, and since the WT Enterprise Center started managing the program in 2009, the program has:

  • Awarded 108 cash grants
  • Helped local businesses generate $1.76 Billion in revenue for the Amarillo economy
  • $472 Million in W-2 Payroll
  • Brought $97 Million in additional equity capital

And for the 2024 reporting period, Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge recipients reported the following economic data:

• 983 Full Time Employees

• $280.6 million in total revenue

• $36.5 Million in Capital Investments
